New Chiang Mai Walking Street

After Chiang Mai is named as the 2010 World's Best Cities on 2nd Ranked after Bangkok, Mr, Tassanai Buranupakorn, the mayor of Chiang Mai City has created a new tourist attraction the heart of city by open the new walking street along the Changklan Road (Night Bazaar) on every Saturday & Sunday from sunset to midnight. Night Bazaar Chiang Mai is named as the shoppers' paradise with bargaining price.Normally night bazaar is open every night but now is close down the street and convert to walking street every Saturday and Sunday from 18.00 to 24.00 effective from 31 July 2010 onwards.

In the meanwhile, the original walking street at Wualai Road on Saturday and Ratchadamnoen and Phrapoklkao Roads on Sunday is still operated.
